I moved my springs into the sub frames with the outside edge of the box welded into the outside edge of the sub frames, I didn't center them in the rear sub frames like the Mopar instructions call for due to wanting as much room as I could get
I ended up having to bend the gas tank rear flanges on both sides and dent the back edge of the passenger side to clear the rear shackle at max suspension extension to clear the new Mopar XHD road handling leaf springs
The new Gabriel stock gas replacement rear shocks fit fine except at max extension
Mine is a 4 speed car now with a NP833 O.D. tranny so I won't be beating on the car much from a dead stop, so, hopefully, that won't be a problem on the shock lengths
I moved my front tire lip forward five inches(stretched the wheel well opening also) and moved the rear end forward two inches with the new leaf springs
