Is the upper exterior door and upper 1/4 trim reproduced? Not sure what its called but its right by the glass. I am thinking not as I don't see it listed any where. Impossible to find? I have one of the short 1/4 pieces but may weld the holes shut if I cant locate the rest.

Can you post a photo of what you are looking for? I think almost all the trim on a 70 challenger is reproduced. Are you looking for drip rails?

I think they are looking for belt line moldings at the top of door and qtr panel. I'd post a pic from my SE, but don't know where to find a url for the pic.

The belt molding is not reproduced. You can find pieces out there. If you find a complete set, the asking price is usually high. But you'll get it all at once. I think the piece along the back edge of the hood is the hard one to get. The small fender sections seem to be easiest. I pieced my set together from pieces I sourced at Carlisle and eBay. I have seen individual pieces as low as $15 to as much as $500 for complete set.

It's the clips that are impossible to find. There are replacements but iirc they require larger holes.

Yes the belt molding, at least now I know what you call them.

i have a whole set --

two upper doors
two 1/4 uppers
back of hood
back of both fenders.

some of the clips are included for the door pieces.

needs to be polished up and some very light scratches removed.
nothing severely wrong with the pieces.

$600 + shipping costs.

Be patient. Unless a part is date coded specific, you will be surprised as to how many will pop up every so often. Last set I seen was sold for 275-300.

200 to 300 I could swallow, car wont get painted till next spring so I have time.

As I noted. You will pay a premium for getting a whole set. Patience can work well in your situation. It took me over a year and a half, but I assembled a set for about a third of going rate for complete set.

There's a bunch of the individual pieces on ebay as of yesterday. Might be good to search and see at what prices they are selling so you can decide how you want to purchase.

Did a quick look and found this one. Way over priced in my opinion. If you are really interested, be patient and keep checking here and the other venues where E Body parts are listed.

My opinion is to grab the hood piece when you see it. For some reason it was the most elusive piece during my hunt.

Located the 4 side pieces and pretty reasonable,now what do I need for clips to hold them on? A photo would be nice so I know what to look for.
