I think i would rather do the alteration than alter the bodywork.

The tires above are 28x13.5.
Moving the tires back didn't make sense to me.

These are 30x13.5:

What is the full width of your tyres and what rims are they on.

MT ET Streets 30x13.5x15 on a 10 inch rim. My Dart is mini-tubbed. Leaf springs moved into frame rail.

Is that the width including the tyre bulge on the rim, my 10.5 MT's measure just over 13" at their widest point.

thanks for the answer mike! now, i will be lenghtening the rear segment is that going to cause problem in you opinion? soften the spring rate? since it's for cosmetics basiclly, i don't want to create problems! thanks again, dave
