Doing alittle studying today and I was looking at rearend widths (tech pages)and I noticed there is alot of difference in measurements between the chart that was posted from the book chrysler upgrades and the measurements someone typed in. Which one is correct?

i`m pretty sure the chart on this site is not correct. i know the early b-bodies are narrower than the later ones.

Someone needs to get rid of that chart. It is full of misinformation.

The list is correct.

This hunk of cr@p that has been asked countless times to be removed.

I know 3 members that shortened b body rears to the 51.40 a body length because on this pile of shyat chart. Yeah they were REALLY happy afterwards.

Sorry to be a pain, but I don't see any B-rearend listed as 51.4.

I'm in the process of putting a Dana in my Challenger, are the E-body numbers correct?

You need to scroll down to the chart.. It is incorrect, not the info above it...

The Dana 60 housing width and drum-to-drum width are the same as the 8 3/4". Use the info below:

Thanks Dr.

May seem like a silly question, but are the perches same distance from flange end on both sides?

For the e-body, I should weld the perch 5 1/4 in?

There are no perches on it now, and I want to make sure of the correct spot.

Thx

Yes, spring perches are equal distance from each housing end.
