I have taken a few apart, Snap ring pliers scew drovers and a nut driver or 2 will do it the rebuild kit with the new shoes are avalible new at a dealer {like 4 bucks}but will have a red rubber cover instaed of black.
Most of the time the large pin does not need to be pressed out and changed just the shoes do.
snap rings and the smaller pin that holds the whole coupler on is the hardest part.
If you have a problem with the covers staying on there is a guy selling a part that keeps it from poping off.
If you need a blow up of it taken apart i can scan/copy a book and fax it to ya
This is the clamp guy I got 2 of them and they worked great
I sell a clamp that holds the steel cover on the top of the steering coupler at the base of the steering column. This will keep the cover from "hanging loose" on the column and it is a reproduction of an original Chrysler part that is no longer available. It will work on most rear wheel drive Mopars from 1967 thru 1993 pickups/vans. My page also has a service bulletin explaining the clamps use and additionl info about steering columns.
