carmak OP super stock C Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 767 Riverside, Iowa	I have found a 66-70 style console with what looks like factory upholstery. The vinyl is very tight and it looks great. It's a light tan color with matching carpet in the area below the trim pieces on the side (where the carpet is suposed to be). Was this possibly a stock application? Thanks. Andrewh master A Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 8,700	I don't think he is talking about the carpet. I believe they all came with that. I think he means the light green above the chrome where the carpet stops. I do not ever recall seening that before.

Carmak 300's were as I said, plastic finish, also had seat belt clips screwed to the top of the back and a cig. lighter in the rear panel. Never seen a console in a New Yorker, but every console I have seen was just plastic finished.

I was around lots of those cars when they were new and never saw one like that. The top plates only had a ribbed, brushed aluminum or woodgrain finish. `02 RAM2500 SPORT V10 4x4 `06 GMC sierra NO cars
