1-1/4 gallons per minute is 75 gallons per hour. That should be enough fuel for 1500 hp. I don't know how strong your car is.

Went back and found a post from on here years ago regards this topic. A 9 sec car should need a gallon every 20 seconds. A 10 sec car a gallon every 25 seconds.

But with the lines disconnected the pump's basically at zero pressure... how much can you pump at operating fuel pressure (6 psi?) That will be less, the question is - how much less Exactly. I don't care what the unrestricted free flow is. I only care what the flow is with the complete system maintaining what I feel is the lowest operating pressure I could live with at the carb(about 5psi).

Aluminum fuel cell, Holly 150 pump, 1/2 inch line, and Mallory regulator. Car has made a couple easy 9.90 passes, should do a couple of tenths better. 1/2" line?!

330, I'm crimping your 5/16 line till you're back in the thirteen's where you belong. LMAO!

Yes it is a sintered filter, is that a problem. Not much surface area.. take it out and do your same flow test

Aluminum fuel cell, Holly 150 pump, 1/2 inch line, and Mallory regulator. Car has made a couple easy 9.90 passes, should do a couple of tenths better. What MPH when running 9.90 ? MPH will be what changes the most with a fuel problem like you have.

Yes it is a sintered filter, is that a problem. The long sintered is prefered over a flat screen............how many micron and 100 is considered the norm on the suction side of the pumps...........

Looks like the fuel tank vent was the problem. Had the vent plumbed into the anti rollover valve, and found it wasn't venting. Made a few hits Sunday, and ran a best of 9.70 @137 in 3300 ft air.

I'm tired of GY3 and his "easy bake" 11 second combo, I'm all for crimping that line. It'll make me feel better about my turd. The 5/16 line and Carter pump just broke my heart, I'm in the middle of plumbing a cowl mount fuel pressure gauge with the hopes that my 5/16 line and Carter pump wasn't adequate, so I'll even supply the clamp! That car IS flying though GY3
