Been waiting on the new motor for the Buick for nearly a year. Finally got it in and running Tuesday on the chassis dyno at Holley. Carried it to Radial Fest at Huntsville. Just taking baby steps and were in test mode vs race mode. New motor, on a tire we never ran before and just trying to get the g-meter and rpm curve to look smooth and start applying the power. Not as much nitrous as we WILL run on it and way safe on timing. By the end of weekend, we were 1.08 in sixty feet and went a 4.35. MPH is still down as our old motor went teens at 178 on best passes. But are getting there with only 6 licks so far. Hopefully we have enough data to lean on it in a couple weeks at Duck's race

Who drives it so I can watch for it on the live feed? Black with painted bumpers and a lexan scoop, right?

I have a soft spot for the G bodies, helped out with my friend's pump gas '84 Regal for years.

Chads car has ALWAYS been a legal Drag Radial car, as that's what it was built for. So LDR and ODR required no changes for us other than adding some weight. While we had been running RvW at some tracks, it wasn't by choice, but because there was no place else to run it. It still has stock type front AND rear suspension.

M/T 29.5 Pro Bracket radial or the 315 Pro. Right now we have the Pro Bracket radial but will likely try the 315 Pro in Georgia

Nice Monte, tuff as. I am going to make a clear scoop for my dual quad. Is there anything you can tell me about that one ?

I have a friend here that builds them. They are not broken. The material, including bottom is thick enough to screw it together.

The car no longer has the clear scoop. Since it is an EFI car, it now has no scoop as it makes ZERO difference with or without
