Building a new dragster and on Dynatech's website the headers I want, say "not for sale to California". I Proceeded to order them from Summit and when I went to pay online, it says some states have restriction and I can't buy them. So I go on summit's chat line and explained the situation to the guy and he proceeded to take my order also asking me if it's for a pre 1966. Of coarse I say yes. Any how all said and done, their in transit directly from Dayntech. Go figure, California is getting bad.

I wouldn't live in that state even if I was given a free house. Nice place to visit every 20 years or so but my limit is about 3 days

Don, when you figure the car will be ready? It would be nice to get out to the track when you run it.

I couldn't agree more with you. After driving to Ohio recently, I'm really starting to thing about where to relocate.

I ordered a set of eddy heads from summit earlier this year and the lady asked me if they would be used on a street car and I answered yes. She says, "let me ask you again. Will these be used on a street car?" I said no. She then laughed and said, "I'm glad you changed your mind. Now I can sell you the heads." Pretty funny stuff.
And, after twenty years of being out here, I finally convinced the wife to let us leave! Hopefully the california housing market holds up for another year! laugh2 boogie

I love Northern California but no way would I ever have a residence there. Any income that you get while in the state you owe California income tax on. Even pro sports players have to pay every time they play in Cali.

My other problem with California is enough people are moving out that they are affecting the politics of destination states with their effete liberal snobbish ways. (Thanks, Spiro Agnew!)

This post will probably get me blackballed. So Long!

R.

A whole lot of bad information in this thread. I have a 3600 HP BAE Hemi that I have NO PROBLEM getting anything for. Looks like the California hate guild is still alive and well.

No offense but all of Cali's "issues" stem from the dense over-population of So-Cal. Sardines.

I worked at a GM plant for five months and had lots of patients, but none of them got a body part stuck in a filler neck haha

I'm assuming you meant "patent"? Did you get to keep any of the royalties, or just a token $1...

I had 5 patents total and got as low as $1 for one and
$2000 for another... you dont get any royalties for any
patent UNLESS its sold.. what Chrysler did with other
companies was swap patents with the rights to use that
item... so no royalties
