Just looking on TTI's site and see these are now available. 1 7/8 to 2 inch step.
Look nice.... And pricy.
Cool pictures they have with a W5 and the Victor head side by side so you can see the .530 difference in height.
Wish I had a nice x block laying around.

The headman hustler W-2 and hooker super com adjustables are a far way better header then that TTI junk in my opinion

Maybe, maybe not. But as made, they won't fit. The victors have a raised port

Do you have a part number for the Headman header that works on the Victor Head?

If you go to the TTI website and find the headers, they have a little W5/ Victor footnote that shows several pictures of those heads side by side. The Victor is over 1/2 inch taller..

Personally I wouldn't discount the performance of the TTI's . My old W5 motor has been 140 mph at 3220 pounds with those headers on it N/A on super stock springs. And those don't step to 2 inches like these new Victor headers, nor are they 3.5 inch collectors like these are.

It would really be nice if some one would put out a full fender well header for a small block off the shelf I have a friend with a set that I Believe are hookers but they are a direct connection header very nice tons of room

Agreed, been there done that. Hedmans were over a tenth faster and 1.5mph better than tti's on my w5 stuff. These are a better design tho I see. Went 9.55@139.99 with hedmans, tti's 9.72@138, bests for each. Both were 1 7/8s, I custom built from pipemax a set myself, went zero faster than the hedmans. Was just my findings on MY stuff.

I wonder if there is enough meat around the exhaust port to drill new bolt holes? A few years ago I think Ryan Johnson did some dyno testing with TTI's and Hedman Huslers and found that the Hedman's made more power. Obviously that was not be the new header but would be interesting see a comparison.

I wouldn't trade my Hedmans for five sets of fenderwell headers.

Thats the thing with a shelf header.. they are NOT right
for ALL engines.. they pick the most common set up and
build for that.. most arent even equal length or even close
for any one engine... but they fit... I'm not a fan of TTI
headers but they fit
wave

Custom isnt always an easy solution either. Dragging a car all over, waiting for "your turn", price not as quoted, workmanship not always as expected, timeline not as expected, ect ect ect.

Got a good header guy, always what he quotes and does them in a week or two. He has done the last two sets of mine and a half dozen of my buddies that I sent there. He also does them for the same price as those TTI's.

Work on both blocks, but you can't use the top row of bolts on R blocks. They screw in the head from the bottom and you can't drill threw the head there they made the oil drain backs there.
