A727Tflite master A Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 3,076 Michigan	Stock bolt in ORC are not a waste of time - without the bolt in ORC you would have failed more than what you did - you just exceeded the capacity of the case by having a bolt in ORC. It did it's job and may have saved your feet. At Chrysler back in the 80's - NYPD and Detroit PD used to regularly fail the transmissions when the cops did "certain" maneuvers on the 727 cop cars, on the El Cheapo police package with 998 - we never had any ORC failures. Same findings up to when we stopped making the 42/44RE versus the same basic truck with a 46. More ORC elements (rollers) reduces the opportunity for roller tilting from "spit back".
