How do you get the ignition switch out of the dash on a 69 Dart? I have the key... I need to remove the switch to get the original key number off the switch

At least on B body, it's like that nut that holds the antenna on. It needs to be turned a bunch. You can do it with a screwdriver and may need something to tap on the screwdriver- just know if may mess up that nut.

A member makes a tool to remove them also (PN: mopar 002) it's on the second page: http://www.custommachinecomponents.com/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=8&cat=Mopar

Once you pull the ignition switch assembly out of the dash from behind, you have to take the switch out of the housing. There is a spring loaded pin in the side of the housing. You have to put the key in the switch and turn it in order to push the pin in from the side and pull the switch out
