I think it is time to put away the whine, and be thankful I don't have worse troubles. Another racer went off the end of the track, and I think crashed into the trees beyond the sand pit/stop. Rescue and ambulance came, no word yet on his condition. Also heard (rumor so far) that he had to be cut out of the car. Lets hope he came through this OK!

Prayers go out gregsdart: Yeah, your problems have all been dealt with in the pits or home in the shop. I think you've been doing a great job staying in front of it. Some seasons just have more problems than others, that's all. My machinist explained it to me in perspective: a race engine is nothing more than test bed to see which parts fail first.

But I think your engine builder left something(s) out. The rest of the car Went to back out for first time trial, Transbrake noworkie. Power at the solenoid outside the trans case, so go home, pull the pan again. It was a broken band strut last time out.

I think the driver was ok. I heard the announcer talking about someone being in the house and ok. I assume that was what he was talking about. He also encouraged racer to give their brakes a quick check.
Sorry I didn't get to say hi to Greg and Leigh. It was kind of crowded down there.
