Comp used to say under 400 pounds open--you are way better off to sell them for a couple--buy the Mancini Harlands with no needles for a tad over $400 and rock on -- bushing those is not the best plan IMO-- At over 700 open Harlands are the ones that will live and give no problems, and there are others like Hughes but...the Mancini units do pretty darn good for the $$ I have had many Comps fail under all kinds of milder applications even after honing etc Good Luck and FWIW rockers that have a groove around the inside spread the oil well and don't need oil mods on block in most cases--drilling your block and bushing those rockers seems like a long trip vs selling them and paying the diff for ones that will work

OK.....It doesn't look like it's going to work without some sort of bushing.
Which brings me to another question. Do you think the Dovorak bushing kit and rocker shafts would work on my application ?
Is Dan Dvorak even around anymore? It might help to know what sort of open pressure that COMP says the newer versions of your rockers that have a bronze bushing already can handle.
