What are you running and what carb? I've got .040s on an 850 DP, it wants/needs more, but this seems like a lot.

The bigger the size, the more fuel but it lasts a shorter time. The smaller size is a thinner stream but lasts longer.
I know Patrick at Pro systems always uses large squirters. The 950 I just bought from him came with 40's all around. I swapped to 31 front, 35 back and my car really woke up in the 60 foot.
This week before I race it I am going to put 31's in the back also and give that a try.

Have you verify that the pump arm bolts are adjusted correctly per Holleys procedure? If not do that now and see what happens to the 60 ft. times up twocents
I've seen the same thing on what was already mentioned after adjusting the pump arm correctly to get the max travel, going from 35 on both ends to 32 or 31 made those cars 60 ft better work scope On one car I had to convert the rear pump down to 30 CC from the original 50 CC size to get the best 60 fts. shruggy

My experience is that the 1.560 Venturi carbs usually need a lot of squirter.
My ported 850 annular works well with 42 front/45 rear, and when I had it on my 340 I ran 47/47.
I like to use the hollow screw on anything larger than a 37.

This is also an annular, 9380. That makes me feel better about it. Are you running a 30 or 50 cc pump? I do have the hollow screws.

Cab the arms are adjusted correctly, sadly.

30cc on both ends.

My carb seems to like a big shot at the hit, but it doesn't need much duration, so I get by with the 30cc pumps.

My Quickfuel 1050AN has 37's on the primary and 42's on the secondary. Doesn't seem to affect my 60's by going smaller because I leave on the secondary's,(stick car). 50 cc pumps front and back.

I run an 850 DP on my 493 and I know I opened my squirters up a little. I think I am runnimg about 36 and 38 but I cant remember 100%. I dont belive I went any larger then 38 on mine and it works great the size I have them now. Ron
