In a previous post I asked: my car was stalling when coming to a stop , I tried different metering rods , checked the timing , car runs fine but still stalls when coming to a stop , Engine other wise Idles fine , Manual Trans Car , anyway I just posted a problem about crankcase pressure , I only have a PCV valve and no breather , and you can here the pressure escaping when the Engine is shut off , anyway would that cause the Engine to stall , maybe the pressure is feeding back throught the carburetor , just a thought.

Check your float level. Take out your idle mixture screws & blast a 2 second shot of starting fluid in each passage & reinstall screws & count # of turns to get them back to where they were & shoot some starting fluid into your air bleeds on the top of the carb.

You didn't mention it, but manual brakes, or power brakes?

Apparently a leaky diaphram can cause a big enough vacuum leak it can kill the engine, which happens when you hit the brakes coming to a stop.

a leaky booster can also cause your engine to go lean and burn 3 exhaust valves.

PVC and no breather? That would cause a vacuum in the crankcase, not pressure, no? That's assuming no blowby, which isn't true, but in theory...
Run it with the oil fill cap off for a minute and see if it's the same.
