I currently have a external trans cooler but it is connected with rubber hose. I was wondering if anyone had any pics of a cleaner better way to install one? I plan on buying a B&M 70266 which is listed to be 11 x 8 x 1 1/2 and want to do a nicer job running the lines and maybe eliminate the rubber.

If you're good at bending tube, try the trans cooler hard lines at auto parts stores.
On racecars & hot street cars where originality isn't a concern, I often mount them vertically (inlet & outlet @ bottom) off the face of the radiator support using Adel clamps.
Between anything that vibrates or moves even slightly and hard lines, a short rubber hose is a good idea. If you're plumbing it into the existing hard lines at the radiator, you can do it with fittings & hard line. Might have to spend a little time with a Dorman (or similar) catalog to find the fittings you want.

Don't bother going to the hardware store asking for Adel clamps, you'll get the Nipper look.

They say there are no such thing as a stupid question.
They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Don't be the exception.

Actually, the hardware store in my town of about 10,000 people HAS Adel clamps! Also some automotive fasteners. But we're pretty rural so maybe that's why: when the tractor's broken, nobody eats!

Yea, I want to try to use hard tube. I will need a fitting that will mate the tubing with the existing trans line. I don`t want to cut the trans lines if possible since they are new but I may have to.

The parts-store hardline tubing uses male IF (inverted flare) fittings, so you'll need 1 or 2 elbows: one to adapt OEM tube to new line, and maybe another for the radiator for the new line going back into the tank. If you can get a tight enough bend on the new tube, you may not need that 2nd elbow. If your parts store doesn't have the elbows you need, there's McMaster-Carr, Dorman, and others.
Might want to buy an extra tube or two - it's only about $7 per stick - for mockup & playing with bends. Take your time making it look clean, avoiding sharp edges, and locating any clamps. Attractive plumbing & wiring are nice details too often overlooked.
