Does anyone have a picture of the bottom of the seats and how everything is hooked up? I'm missing the "wire" that connects the two seat tracks. There is a "hook" on the front of the seat frame. Is the "wire" supposed to go through the hook before going to the other side.

Is there anything special about those "wires" or can I just make something? Thanks

make something. on the b body seats there is a metal band that attaches to the hook and goes back to the wire. i think it just keeps the wire from drooping. you'll know you got it right when both track locks release at the same time.

If I remember I take a photo and some measurements of that wire.

I put the tracks on last night. The inner tracks are the same for both sides. That puts the lever close to the "hook" on one side but at the opposite end on the other side. There must be something else that attaches to the "hook" that the wire passes through. If not, the wires would need to be two different lengths. If you could get a picture that would be great. Thanks.

Here is a pic of the tracks while solder welding the new carpet for holes and fitment. You can see the crossover wire as well. I do not have the dimension but a small spring on either end slips back over the wire after installed through the hole in lever.

Because the inner tracks are the same, one side's tracks will be closer together than the other. Therefore one of the wires is shorter than the other by about an inch. The longer one being about 14" long. In an earlier post I mentioned a metal strap holding the wire and attaching to the hook on the seat. well either I've left one attached to a seat OR only the longer wire gets a strap ... 'cause I only have one in my bag of parts.

here ya go ...

Thanks for the pictures guys! I was thinking about just using some picture wire and small aluminum cable sleeves. Do you think that would work?

I would use a solid wire. Piano wire from a hobby shop would work well.
