I had another 408 short block put together last year, and came out running 6.15 1/8 th mile, after not many runs on it e.t started to drop off so I pulled motor to not put a hole in a stout bottom end. Car sat untouched for a year, got my hands on a 77 road runner with a Nick Wilson r.i.p built 340 I pulled the 340 and put it in Dart. It is a stock stroke, iron head 340 and has run a 10.49 at 126 in the dart so far. Running on corn fuel. Still undecided on keeping it small block or going big block
