Make sure you wear a BGR shirt without coffee stains on the front, my dear friend. We don't want you making us all look like a bunch of doofus'

Thanks, the Dart is unrestored as raced by me in 1984/85.All the thanks and appreciation goes out to Grant who stored the car untouched for 20+ years and Donny Martik and his brothers(Martik Bros.Classics)and Martik Bros Construction Inc. for bring the car back home unbelievable the car still has the same spark plugs from 24 years ago and can click off a 10 second pass on an easy drive down the track. The last full passes on the car in 1984 netted 9.97/9.98 at National Trails,Columbus Ohio.

Here it is shortly after Bob retrieved it from Grant.
A sidenote: at the Curt George Memorial a year or so ago Bob climbed into the Dart for a "drive through", no helmet, belts or nothing, and "drove it through" at 10.90 something at 125+ mph. I was standing on the start line with Donnie and I thought he was going to have a heart attack....he paid a lot of attention the space between the Dart and the guardrail the whole way down.
The fact that Bob had no safety gear on resulted in a discussion with Frank Tedesco, but Brother Bob could not wipe the grin off of his face for two or three days.

Here it is shortly after Bob purchased the car....somewhere around 1970. He bought the car off of Jerry Daily, here it is at old PID.
