I have a question or two about the fan on my motor. Its a Factory 18" fan, 7 blade and the part number is 46237 . Does anyone know the application for said fan and IF its a direct bolt on OR a clutch type piece? Right now previous owner has a clutch mounted to it. The car in question is a 70 340 swinger auto

Should have a short shaft clutch drive without the thermal spring

Five digit numbers are vendor ID numbers, the outfit that supplied the part to Chrysler.

2863216 is the part number
46327 is the part vendor ID

The original fan would have the part number stamped in the blade. Newer replacements had an ink stamp with the part number.

Quote:
Its a Factory 18" fan

216 fans are 18.5" diameter, so it would be a 215 fan. wink
