Just installed my 426 hemi into my 69 road runner. Headers fit great, but tight. Instructions say to bend dip stick tube to that on sheet 502. Can't find sheet 502 on TTI site. What have others done? I am trying to get car going today so it will be ready for Nationals next week. If I need to order something I can overnight it for Monday if needed. Just need to know what others have done. Thanks.

I just adjusted a repop stock type dipstick and clamp. It wasn't too difficult but would be easier with the engine out.

Master, again and still

I have a 69 Sat with a 528 Hemi and the Schumacher mounts with the TTI 2-1/8 " headers and power steering. At first, I got lucky by rebending a 440 dipstick, but it was kinked and hard to slide the dipstick in, even after I thinned down the stick it self, which finally broke off in the tube a year later. I finally bought the Mancini Racing Hemi/Headers dipstick assembly and after 20 minutes of wrangling(DUH!) it fell right into place! I don't know what I was doing wrong, but it finally just went into place with no modifications at all. If it had not worked, I was going to try the Milodon flexible assembly, but I am very happy with the Mancini setup.

I used a stock dipstick and routed it between the first two header tubes. These are TTI Headers also. Took a little rebending and patience. Works great.

I used the Milodon flexible braided dipstick w/ my 2.25" primary TTI headers.

I used the Milodon Stainless Steel Oil Dipsticks part number 22070. It cleared my TTI headers but it was a tight fit. I had to put some creative bends in it. I also have to rotate the dipstick as I put it in but it goes. Once I got the bends worked out, its been fine.
