Hey gang!

I am getting ready to rewire my modified 1947 Plymouth Special Deluxe in the very near future and I have decided that I would like to get a pair of electric motors for the windshield wipers. The engine is already 12v .

Anybody have any advice on where I should look for them? Is "universal" an option? I have done some light investigating and seem to keep getting pointed in the direction of Jeep motors.

Thanks in advance for your help!

-Justin

They say there are no such thing as a stupid question.
They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Don't be the exception.

years ago i used a vw bug motor and linkage for this exact swap. i had to lengthen the bracket and arms X amount [i forget just how much], but it worked our great ! just throwing this out there. i don't know what the availability of the under dash bracketry for the vw bug is today, but i would guess the arms and motor would be readily available.

Try marine stores, there are multiple applications for boats.
