I recently noticed my backup lights on my 67' Belvedere where not working.

Long story short power is provided from a pin on the wiper switch (yup odd but factory)

The blade terminal on the wiper switch is MIA but the base is still there. Can a wire be soldered to the remains of the brass blade?

And cleaner metal is always better.

Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.
