looks good---what is the lower mount hooked to? Sorry, don't remember for sure, and the car now belongs to someone else. I believe the lower bracket was bolted to a motor mount bolt. It was a pain to bolt in, but once there it worked well. I remember colorful words and an end wrench. It would have been pretty simple because the whole process was done in a day. The belt runs off the water pump pulley and only runs the alt. Those are the only pictures I have. Sorry, Gene

Are you running an alternator and a generator ? Yes, well sort of. The generator has the power steering pump attached to the back of it, and the gen did not function. We kept the gen for the power steering. We added the alt so we had battery charging capability. Gene

That looks good.
It looks like you are running the 54 and earlier wet intake and original water pump. The later heads that have the water crossover and/or a Chevy water pump conversion might make that location a bit problematic.

poorboy---thanks-----after staring at the pictures awhile i decided my problem was i was trying to keep the belt tensioner---once i pulled that off i used that tang on the block to hinge the alternator---i deleted the rear pulley on the water pump----just need to bend the swinging? adjuster strap and will attach it to the front on the tang instead of the rear of the tang.
