i just picked up a magnum engine and tranny tonight, its outta a 94 3500 van, is this tranny a 518?

it is an A518/46rh

its been rebuilt so hopefully it will last behind the magnum after its warmed up abit. I am just gonna put the TC and OD on a toggle switch for the highway and out of town.
what makes it the 46RH? is it the lock up converter?

If you want it to work correctly then check out the PATC tranmission site. They tell you how the hook it up with two cheap pressure switchs and a vacuum switch. The pressure switchs can be picked up at any trans supply. The are the third gear clutch switchs for a GM turbo 350. They run $6 each. The vacuum switch is from an 86 caprice and is the convertor lock up control. It can be bought at the local parts store for $45. You will need one toggle switch to cut off the od for racing purposes. I'm doing it for my 74 truck so I can go to a 3:73 rearend for racing and still end up with a 2:56 for cruising.
