It would seem that the old graybeard silverbacks are displaying their typical well founded ignorance with cheap shots as is their norm.

This was an old thread that had interesting and useful information that perhaps many newer members without the prerequisite 15 years of listening to the constant vacuous insipid blathering of these sorry know it all's may have missed, and they too would find interesting as I had.

72,701 posts and of course all brilliant,,,just ask him!

Or just trying to get your post count up to qualify as a SA know it all.

They say there are no such thing as a stupid question.
They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Don't be the exception.

After running radials on my 63 I will never go back to Bias tires. It handles so much nicer on radials and to me my radial tires look fine. I do use radial slicks also and drive them on the street and they just drive and handle so nice as there is no following the lines in the road at all like Bias tires do. Ron

The key to using bias ply tires is to find an alignment shop that knows how to set up the alignment for them.
I just put Coker "pro trac" bias ply tired on my coronet (after all the "the car will find every groove" warnings) and it handles like a dream!

unions....the folks who brought you the weekend!
