What stops the window from rolling down too far. LF window rolls down very smooth but rolls up a bit hard?? All new everything. Car was a bit of a basket case so I sure I am missing what ever prevents the window rolling down too far. Picture would help. I see nothing in the service manual. Thanks Larry J

Not sure what mechanicals are in your door...

If the stop was out or bad, your door glass would probably fall out of the regulator and not work at all..

If everything is new I would make sure you have the linkage lubed ( with a light grease ) and use some some dry powdered graphite ( not the liquid spray stuff in the can) in the channels that the glass rides in..

Could be kinda tight from being new... See if that helps..

Is your spring OK in your regulator?? It neutralizes the weight of the glass so you can roll it up....

having the channel twisted slightly at the bottom can also cause binding. i can't remember whigh one but its the one that fits over the bracket mounted to the bottom of the door

Thanks for the response. It goes down real free but up is a little tight in my opinion. My main concern is it appears to have no stopping point down. Something has to limit its travel I would think? I have the up stop in place and adjusted but i see nothing to limit the down travel? Thanks Larry J

isn't the down stop on the regulator. as the arm travels down it eventually hits it depending on where you have it set to. i'm sorry but it's been years since i had my RR doors apart.

OK I see what limits its the travel. It is a small cam that is missing from my right regulator that is adjustable. Not sure if I will be able to buy the cam or just get a new regulator. Thanks for the replies. LJ
