The 426 Max Wedge motors fit with the stock crossram with both carbs and air filters, yours should fit with no problems twocents

Done that a couple times: RB with an RPM, Holley on a GM heat baffle & 3" open-element air cleaner. Both times though I used a drop-base aircleaner bottom.

My buddy has one on his 64 383 Belvedere. Pretty sure it's a regular base aftermarket air filter and it fits under the stock hood.

Zoom in if you can on the pic.

Edit: Looks like you can see it the way it is.

I have a RPM on my 64 Belvedere with a 440 and ended up having to install a drop base air cleaner with a 2-1/2" filter to get the hood to close. The RPM is a pretty tall intake.
