Hey everyone, long time no post. I am looking to start collecting parts to go forced induction, most likely twin turbo on my R3 48 degree. I have heard (Haven't phoned around yet as I am not ready to order right now) that finding a cam core that will go to the desired LSA I am looking for may be tough. Our last 48 degree deal we did was this year, and I think it was Cam Motion or else Bullet had the cores, but it was an NA deal.
Anyone heard of where some cores may be?
rough plan is to de-stroke my current combo to about 440ci. I will probably go to my W9 top end at the same time, and so far, I am happy with borg warner turbos on my other builds. I was thinking a pair of S475's with an 83mm turbine on the exhaust. Not totally sure on AR, but probably 1.10. These would be t4 housings as well. Most likely I would go with MS3 Pro at this point in time, and a 2 speed of some sort. Like I said, it's a rough idea at this point. I am currently still finishing up my new street truck project, a 408ci LS with a billet borg warner S476 T6 with a 96mm turbine and 1.32 AR. The truck will take over more of the street duty, and I will move the Aspen more to a race car with mufflers and a license plate.
Thanks!
-Kenny

If you go 55mm comp will make you whatever you want . And it's fairly reasonable. I thought you were running a ritter block.

Thanks guys, I will look into those sources. If you go 55mm comp will make you whatever you want . And it's fairly reasonable. I thought you were running a ritter block. The Ritter block was a customers engine. I have ran a 673AD R3 for the past 4 or 5 years now I think. -Kenny

I know of a complete R3/W8 engine setup ready to run in the Tampa area. CFE W8 heads and intake, .900" roller cam, no turbos, est. 2400 HP. Was built for a customer going to run it in a drag race Viper, customer backed out of the deal for financial reasons. PM me if you are interested.
