Is there any benefit to modify the air box on a stock motor? I'm already using the deepest filter NAPA has.
Thanks!

Anytime you can get fresh air into the intake is a good thing

Nope. Stick with the Napa filter you have. up

Turbocharger does all the work: you could stuff dead leaves and dog hair in there and it will still find a way to make 26 pounds of boost.

Any of these Meatheads putting "cold air kits" on a turbocharged engine don't have the first clue what they are doing. Don't fall for any of the hype.

Napa 2790 = BHAF. Warning they are getting pricey these days. Last one I got was almost a $100 from Napa.😳

FWIW, it's available from:

https://www.filter1.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=42790&x=0&y=0

Just a bit over $50, use discount code moparts.

Very old data but still relevant, there's no measurable gains until north of 400 hp to be had from air filter mods. Even above there, not much to be had. Mebbe a tad decrease in EGT's? The factory did an excellent job here. Unless you want to hear turbo whine? thumbs
