I know I noticed today that Ericas Dodge was idling at 2000 RPM.

A.J's MPH is starting to step up and that's a real good sign.

Nothing unusual for most any non blown heads up deal. Especially with 0W5 or the typical 0W10 oils they use. Mine is at 20-25 at idle. Biggest issue with light oils are valvetrain/spring problems.

A.J's MPH is starting to step up and that's a real good sign. He had a slightly higher MPH than Anderson today, but Anderson may have hossed the gas on him. It did look like Allen's car spun right at the hit too.

They will only have 40 pounds at 10,000 too. You can turn a fully assembled ps short Block by hand using the balancer lol....amazing to me. NICE...............

I don't know if it's true or not, but I was once told that an old superstock trick was draining the oil and running it, less windage I suppose but bye bye motor. Maybe someone else could confirm or deny that? Back before synthetics came around Lyn Smith told me you wanted just enough oil in the motor so the pressure just dropped to 0 at the stripe. He would run 3 quarts on heads-up runs.
