I got a fiberglass bolt-on power bulge hood for my 71 Charger from VFN and am having a fitment issue. With the placement of the built in bolt holes on the hood, even with the hood all the way forward in the hinge slots, its 3/8 inch too far back. The fender can not be moved because the fender to door gap is perfect. It seems to me that the hinge to inner fender adjustment can only be adjusted up and down, not forward or back. maybe I'm missing something on how to adjust hood hinges?
Also I got light hinge springs from them but.., look at the picture.
Any ideas? Thanks

i think there are different hinges between years and hoods , if its too far back meaning the hood you could cut and stretch the rear hole of the hinge !! and there is no weight with a glass hood !!
