I believe orange is instrument lights. Put a meter on it and turn the lights on.
Not too sure there was a memory feed line in a 77 Volare, no memory to feed.

Odd, you'd think the connectors would plug and play if it was specifically designed for a Chrysler setup. I've put factory 70's Am/FM/CB radio in my 87 Diplomat and it plugged and played no problem. I've also put mid 90's Neon radio in the same Diplomat, again plug and play. http://www.automotivetroubleshootingsecrets.com/car_stereo_wiring.htmlLooks like tan might be for the lights. Did someone stuff it into the same point as the red lead?
