NTOLERANCE OP master Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 4,384 Madison Wi	Any use for a reverse rotation clutch fan blade? The one I have (new) would actually be a pusher fan if I mounted it on my 383. Would there be any use for it , say on a reverse cooled SBC? Maybein a street rod? I used to care but....... things have changed

Do reverse cooled engines spin the pump backwards or is it a different pump impeller? I used to care but....... things have changed

Yep..I've worked on alot of Chev C1500 trucks and they use a serpentine setup with a reverse rotation water pump/fan/fan clutch setup. (All the TBI ones, when they went to Vortec, they use a screw on fan clutch)
