Well with my busy work schedule I don't get much time to work on my 605. I finally got it on the dyno a couple weeks ago and then ran into RF interference problems. Got most of that sorted out and made a couple pulls. After 2 pulls it dropped oil pressure by 20psi. I finally got time to start checking things. I was hoping it had blown out a oil plug on a rocker shaft,or stuck the oil pressure bypass, nope. Pulled the filter and cut it open and found some shiny metal particles in the oil so the pan is going to have to come off. The good news is nothing exited the block or started making real expensive noises. I'm hoping to get it off the dyno and get the pan off sometime this week.Dave

Good luck, hope it's nothing serious.

You are definitely better off finding it when you still HAVE some oil pressure.

Well the good part was I hadn't adjusted the oil pressure down yet. It started at 94 psi and had dropped to 74. It's nothing that a proper application of $100 bills can't fix.

Guys, I just finished planting spuds, I haven't had time to even open the garage door. This weekend is my 40th Highschool reunion. I was hoping to drive my wreck to my reunion, that's not going to happen. I've got 2 guys I've got to help sort out their fresh motors the following week. (sometimes life sucks the big one). I'll post my findings when I can get back to it. Dave
