My car 68 GTX is missing the round flat washer/nut that the hood bumper bolt goes into and lets you adjust the hood bumper height. Does anyone make this part? Thanks Larry J

I think they were the same on late 80`s van. Maybe a trip to a junk yard is in order. Maybe try him http://www.jimsazparts.com/

Thanks I have tried Tonys Stephens and Wildcat and few others with no luck. I live in NE Ohio so I may try some bone yards around here but most of the old stuff is gone.:(

Still no luck finding these. I need to find someone with a junk core support that is willing to cut them out. Its funny how the little things hold you up. Larry J

So I have used ones but the prongs are missing from them. Anyone have an old core support they want to cut these out complete still stamped on the core? I think I can get them out with a little work then have them blasted and painted. No one noticed these were missing until the car was painted and the hood went on. Had a 6 pack hood on it and these were removed to put hood pins on?? Thanks Larry J

Just talked to AMD and yes they manufacture the part I need but will not sell them separate. Anyone have any other sources or old rusted out core support. If I could get someone to cut them out I woudl try to save the barbs that hold them in. Open to suggestions???? Thanks Larry J

Unless I'm missing something these nuts are located on the fenders and not on the core supports. Most any old fenders laying around should have them as long as they're not seized up by the adjuster bolt. twocents
