Does a MP solid flat tappet lifter oil up to the
top for push rod oiling... without the EDM hole
in the face... thinking about changing to a solid
flat tappet cam for the street
EDIT
I should say this is for a LA engine
thanks
EDIT 2
I'm looking at 1 of 2 MP cams... unless Bullet
can get me in less than a month(doesnt look like
it)... looking at the .590 with 1.6 rockers.. but
not liking the 106 lsa... or the .557 with 1.7 rockers
which has a 110lsa.... both would end upright about .630
lift which is just short of what I have now by about .010
if they even still sell either of those... you know
how MP is now days... both would help in clearance
in the push rod hole in the heads

I'm not sure about the lifter you are talking about, but I have some used pushrod oil lifters that I had resurfaced I'm not using. I'd be will ping to sell them.

Also, don't know what you need for a cam but I have a used Crane that is about 265 at .050 and is a bit over .600 lift I could sell you. I have the cam card for exact numbers. I do remember it's on a 104 LSA.

I have a brand new Erson cam as well. IIRC it is on a 108 LSA but it's a bit bigger at fifty and i think it's about .580 lift.

Just because you think it won't make it true. Horsepower is KING. To dispute this is stupid. C. Alston

Mike I'll offer again. 252/256. .584" on a 1.6 flat solid, 112LSA ground for a 408" with EFI. Man I'd flat out GIVE this thing to you if it'd help you out brother!

On my bigblock solid flat tappet cam I got from Dwayne Porter he gave me the Comp EDM lifters which have the small hole in the bottom for lube on the cam lobe but they also have the hole in the top so if I wanted to use hollow pushrods it would oil that way. But I just use solid pushrods that block the top lifter hole and oil my shaft and rockers through the stock oiling system that comes up through one of the rocker shaft bolt holes. Ron

Sort of the same here.
I got my Comp EDM solid lifters for my Hemi from Dwayne Porter.
They use the same pushrod cup/ball height as the hydraulic cam that was in the engine before.
That meant I could use re-use my pushrods.

Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol

That's not Jims web site. He doesn't have one.

I can tell you the lobes posted on the site you found are just a few of what he has.

Call him AFTER 5 PM eastern and talk to him. Damn nice guy.
