I have power brakes working on my car now, but the effort to stop is way too little. I barely need the weight of my shoe to start stopping and I'm stopping hard with not much more.

My brake pedal arm only has one hole (manual drum car) so I want to add another hole an inch down to reduce my leverage.

How the heck do you get the brake pedal out to do this? The left side of the pivot is blunt, and the right side may have a bolt head on it but it's hidden behind the larger C-channel bracket thing above the column. It almost looks easier to just drop the driver's size cowl vent box and do it inside of the car.

is the rounded nub pushrod clearance OK (~.020)

Yes, I originally thought it was pushrod clearance but I over-adjusted it to the point of the front brakes being lightly on at rest, and I still get the same pedal behavior. Right now my pedal ratio is 6:1 so I got a lot going on for power brakes.

what about going the other way (shortening the nub a bit)
