I'm reinstalling my suspension today, following the manual and it seems to call for a sleeve that goes between the two rubber bushings - on the front of the strut arm. I swear that when I took it apart that there was no metal sleeve present.

So I am concerned. Can you guys chime in and tell me if there is actually a sleeve present there?

If they fit the strut rod snug without it they are not needed.

As in the pic above, I bought the 2 piece bushings. I cut the 1 piece out that was in there for decades....

Looking at the offerings on Rock Auto, 74 Dart, all the two piece bushings include the sleeve, which is my recollection from past rebuilds as well.

This is supposed to be an old Moog one piece strut bushing, it would need the sleeve?

Not the one piece ones, just the two piece units.

So to clarify if I use a 1 piece it's used without a sleeve, correct? and which way does it point?

Man, I don't remember, I haven't used a 1 piece since 1988 and that one didn't last long hence my preference for the two piece setup like OEM.

These appear to come with a sleeve scope

I have the Moog problem solver and want to know if you can use the larger stock type washer and the early one piece inner sleeve (ie convex side out not concave) with these for a stock look
