what is the correct interior trunk finish for my 1970 dodge challenger /? clear coat or flat from factory?

Originally the car was just a single stage enamel. The trunk was sprayed body color along with the rest of the car. Paint coverage might not have been very good in the trunk. It just depended on who painted the car that day. So, single stage body color is correct.

Your 1970 Challenger didn't come from the factory with a base coat/clear coat paint job.
