I am sure MoparBilly or one of the other regular racers can give you some better information as to the formal points type programs, but I would say that for spectating and for just taking a car out to the track to get some real ETs, generally March (Oct - April) is the racing season here. Gets pretty hot June-August when you midwesterners are running.

Check out the site for Firebird Raceway. Lot's of stuff going on.

They race all year Unlike the race of us poor snooks that live in snow country, now Don't forget the MATS race in Las Vegas 03-19 thru 03-22-09. If you make it to that race make sure and stop by the unlawfuls race only pit area and say hello to everyone out here I think there is a PSCA race at Speed World in March also

I talked the Al Corda the other day ( he lives out there in winter) He went down the track last wed, it was Firebirds first day open of the new year, free test day.

March 6th & 7th is the Division 7 LODRS points race in Tucson. Well worth the 2-ish hour drive from the valley. Friday is the best day.
I don't even bother with the national event at Firebird anymore.

We have a Summit Team Race on Sunday March 22 at Firebird. Speedworld has a Summit Team Race on Saturday March 21. Speedworld also has an All MOPAR race on Sunday March 15.

Well if we come out there it will be in March. Right
now we are waiting on the condo company to respond
to our e-mail on the time frame but we are hopeing
for the whole month of March.
Cab if we do make it out there I will make sure I
make it to the Mats. I wish I could haul my rig out
there but that would mean she has to drive our jeep
also and I dont want to pay the fuel for both

Come on out and visit Speedworld Dragstrip. I'm the guy always hanging out at the fuel depot.

If you're coming to Phoenix you might as well slip up to Vegas for Mopars at the Strip.....you won't regret it!

That Mopar event at SPEEDWORLD is MARCH 15th. Not april.

All three have Summit series races and regular test n tunes and bracket races almost year round. The LODRS is in Tucson in March. Remember MATS in Vegas is a short drive and the Pomona swap meet is March 8th. L.A. is a short drive as also. If you want any directions or tourist info while you are here, I am in southern Az, just drop me a PM.

My buddy lives in Phoenix in the winter. I built him a 440 cross ram 5 speed for his 64 Fury convert. We've taken the cross desert tour to Vegas and will be doing again this year.
