Porting and flowing jsut completed on my Indy SR heads. Previously the heads had only been opened to MW size with a clean up. Turned out they were flowing right around 300 on the intake and 240 on the exhaust at .700 lift. Porting and a new valve job increased flow by roughly 50 CFM on both intake and exhaust. Do not have the sheets yet they are coming with the heads. While these are not a big as some of the numbers I have heard from these heads I am pretty pleased with a 50 CFM increase.
Previously the 493 dynoed 669 hp with a sold roller 280 @0.050 with 700 lift at 12:1
With the porting and roughly a 1 point compression increase (milled heads)any guesses what kind of hp increase should be expected. How about ET (previously 9.85).
thanks

I would be real pleased if the car would run a 9.50. It is kind of the target I was shooting for. But things always seem to work better on paper.
I am also putting on a glass hood and bumpers (VFN) to drop a few more pounds. Going to try the 5 inch hemi scoop (hope its not too ugly) have not seen the scoop yet.

That is impressive for a big car. My goals are more humble as our track is close to 3700 foot elevation and the mountain air that blows while clean is normally not great for making hp. I would like one day to take a stab at a sea level run ( probably tear my block apart)but would run a nice number while it lasted

I have not weighed the car for a year or so and always making little changes. However should be just under 3000 LBS in the staging beams.
