I have a set of 71 chally AMD 1/4's here but haven't installed them yet, they look nice and I think the metal is thicker than goodmark ?? I just did an AMD '70 Cuda roof skin and it fit just about perfect...

W. T. F. happened with goodmark? when these were just coming out, EVERYONE talked about how great they were and how well they fit, and to buy them now before they're gone, since they might not do another run since these cars are such low volume cars to begin with. Now everyone says they are junk?

not sure on the cudas but the goodmark quarters for the challengers are JUNK don't waste your money. I don't think i found one thing that was even close to being right. though everything i hear about the amd ones seems very good
Did you get the old goodmarl skins or the new whole quater panels?

new whole quarters a few months after they came out. drove the 2 hrs to sherman and assoc. to have them in my hand, we looked through about 6 boxes and found the nicest one (which still had die marks over the wheelwell area) got it home and put it up next to the original and just sat back and laughed. if people think those panels are nice its only because they have nothing else to compare it too i returned it for my $570.00 and bought some cheap skins (also junk) that i disected for the small pieces that were bad on mine

How does the marker light fit in the quarters ? I know the old skins the marker lights fit horribly.
At this point I have only dry fit the OEM replacements I bought. It appears identical to the factory quarter on the other side. Right depth and location. The paint will start going on in about two months and reassembly begins. Craig

That is why I went with the Goodmark. I bought the first full quarter delivered in CO. I have not been the least bit disappointed. It was the only sheet metal that had to be replaced on my car.

It went on nice, one of the best repo panels I've seen... I'm using AMD drip rails with it and had to stretch and tweak them to get the proper curve.

I've used both at my shop, and the AMD sheetmetel is far better in fit and lines, so I tell everyone that AMD is the way to go!!!
Thumbs up for AMD here also... Not everything is perfect but, NOS doesn't always go on perfect either.
