I have a '69 Barracuda, and I'm having a hard time finding the chrome grille surrounds for it. Mine are pitted and one is cracked, but it looks like this stuff really works! Anyone tried it?

I'm interested in hearing more...

I used it to repair the trim pieces on my Superbird. It was a difficult fix because they are so thin. I was repairing a broken stud or two. I am pretty good with a torch, I do lots of soldering in plumbing work using lead. It melts very quickly as well. A thicker piece should be easier to work with. I would think that it would be better to let the person who is doing the chrome work to fix the pits. They should have more experience.
