I'm using pump fuel and the bowl and metering block gaskets on my 4150 Holley shrink, swell and generally are junk. These are the blue Holley gaskets that came in a kit, or you buy over the counter.

Called BLP and they are out of the red ones. Called QF and all that have is the Holley blue ones.

What are you using that is pump fuel compatable and who do you get the, from.

Thanks for the help.

I am. If I can get it to stop puking fuel everywhere and get it up on the pump. I'll send it to ya before it goes to the dyno.

This has been one giant PITA deal from the gitgo.

Brand new carb from Holley, never had any gas in it. I took off the bowls to see what jets it had and the gaskets disintegrated. Holley blue gaskets are crap. Carb is off to get Thumped on and it will get Superformance gaskets on reassembly.

Holley blue gaskets are junk, I had them on my 950 and had to pry the metering blocks off. Superformance gaskets here.

Quick Fuel should have had their new material available, pink in color. I just got some test pieces recently and they look like they will be a real good gasket, they are much better than the blue.
