How should this be finished from the factory?
Gloss black?
Semi gloss black??
Bare metal?????
This is on a 1969 hemi charger

Domingo,I'm restoring my brothers 70 Charger R/T right now.An original car he's owned since 1982.When I removed that hanger bracket it was bare steel no paint or plating.All it had on it was surface rust and a small splattering of undercoating when they undercoated the bottom of the car.Also,when I removed the hanger you could see the grey body dip primer color under the mounting flanges,so this piece is put on after the car was run thru the dip tanks.Hope this helps you out.I have some pics,PM me your e-mail address and I can send a few to you.
