I think an M1 would be your best bet.

What M1 intake has MW ports AND fits a low-deck build?

At this time, the only low-deck MW intake I can think of is an Indy SP, in either a 4150 or 4500 flange version. Not short, though.

You could use an Indy Mod man with a single 4. It has MW ports. That Indy single plane is the only MW manifold on the market. I have one under the hood of my 71 Charger. But it has a bulge hood. Use a R2N drop air filter base as well.

Std port or MW port? Like Brad says, MW port means Indy. Std port gives you more options.

I run the 383 Victor fully ported w/a 2" adapter and it fits (barely) under my 6-pack scoop w/a 3 1/2" wix filter..........standard port.......

If you bought Todd's heads that were CNC ported by Hughes, I'm pretty sure those ARE Max Wedge ports.

On your deal for race only I would choose the Eddy Victor 383, on a street and strip deal with mostly street I would opt for the Eddy Performer RPM with at least a 850 CGM carb. or bigger thumbs twocents

RB only; no Indy dual-plane for low deck.

Todd's heads are MW, and I think an Indy 360-1 is 90 to 100 cc smaller than those MW Victors, if they're really 332 cc.

Hughes says the standard CNC port like I have is 313 cc. The pics Todd sent me of those heads "way back when" definitely had larger intake ports than mine, so a 332 cc MW port is probably correct.

If those are standard port heads then I'd run either the Trick Flow intake with a 4150 carb or the Mopar M1 4500 with a Dominator. If your heads are MW ports then you are stuck with the choices from Indy. You should measure the ports so you know for sure what you have. If the ports are smaller than a MW then you might be able to use a standard port intake and open it up a bit. Just really depends on what you have.

Team G is the bottom of the barrel. TM 6 is great on 450CI or less, 511, depends what your after. Max performance or other. Neither, if max power is the goal.

ok, looks like victor, super victor or indy 400-2. I do want to make some power with this 511. 650 would be nice but 700+ would be perfect.

thats the power range i would like to end up at. your cam seems alittle conservative for the compression. mine will be 11.5:1 comp and im thinking a flat solid cam of mid 260's on the intake and .650 lift. going in a 67 barracuda notch at 3350#. currently have a 4.30 gear with 28" tire. may have to put the 4.10's back in with this combo. very nice car you have.

I wanted to go bigger on the cam. My builder assured me it would be enough for my car. We'll see when I make my first pass this year.

Dave,

Go with the Indy single, IMO your car is light enough so with enough stall (like a tight-ish 8") and compression that you won't have much issue with low end distribution. the 400-2 can be a bit of a Light-switch but with the right cam and weight it won't be bad at all. I've ported Holley street dominators to very close to MW size and they work awesome with a spacer. Do you know your head flow? Remember the Runner CC on the indy's and the victors can be a bit deceptive compared to standard mopar heads since they incorporate the CC volume of a comparable Stage VI intake spacer into the casting.

I run the ported MP 337 Single on my low deck (but I have the Chapman Stage V1's) and it'll still "pull the hinges off the gates of He!!" down low.

Tell me about those 360-1 heads in a PM, I just bought an R3 block and I'm thinking turbo devil

Todd's heads are MW size.
For a low deck manifold, afaik there are basically 3 choices for "bolt on" installation and a single carb............Indy 400-2, 400-3, Mod Man.

ok, indy 400-2? heads i will use on this 511 are victors with hughes cnc. flow 359@.600,.700.800. cc is 332 im told. looking at the hughes solid flat cams right now. there 264/268 and 268/272@50 and .650".
the 360-1's i will be selling soon were fully ported by dwayne welder. port size is 330cc avg and flowed 330cmf on best port. so 328cfm avg. will be sold with 1.6 T&D rockers. still in shop getting a couple valves replaced from the engine failure and cleaned up. they have new ferrea compitition + valves and new pac springs for solid roller.

I'll bet you a dollar your 360-1's aren't 330cc(or to put it another way, 85cc's bigger that the CNC 245's).

Use a Howard's cam. Cheaper than Hughes.

Yeah, 330+ cc seems a big large for a 360-1 head.

Don't mean to threadjack.
