Hello, I needed some help deciphering this starter core. It's a 2875560

Attached is a pic of what I'd like help decoding. The year number in the sunburst doesn't look too legible to me, but maybe on of you guys with the discerning eyes could make heads or tales of it. The month code looks like May. Any help with a day code or any other info these numbers represent would be a big help!

The two numbers in the center of the star pattern are illegible. They would tell you the year of that half of your starter.

Do you think that could be a "0" at the 1 o'clock position?

Does that 6 mean anything?

I looked at this thread earlier and thought I saw 73 as well
And months, May for sure, maybe June

Whats the assy date of on the barrel?

Based on how washed out the casting is I'd doubt the assy date will match

Wow. you guys have some great eyes! On the barrel I just see the part number code. I'll have to squint hard I guess. Would the assembly date be close to the part number?

The barrel is 030. Is that 03-70?

Thanks for the clarification. What is the acceptable date range from the build date of the car?
