That would be an awesome project especially if you have rust free Ramcharger to start with. I'd like to do one as well but they want stupid money for anything that is remotely rust free. I put a 6.1 Hemi in a 73 Dodge short bed, With fuel injection. The transmission will bolt up using stock rear mount and be able to use this typical converter the only thing is there will be one hole into the engine that will not be utilized for the bellhousing. When I did it in 2005 ish there were no motor mounts For a direct Bolton so I used I think Fatman fabrication generic engine mounts and made my own adaptors to the frame. Headers were Factory Grand Cherokee SRT8 with slight modifications.

Unfortunately I just went ahead and bought a mid to late nineties Tahoe for a lot less money than what the Damned 1993 Ram Chargers are going for.

Good luck

It would be easier to slip in a 5.9 Magnum as I want to do to my '87 D100 than to try to deal with the 5.7 Hemi. It is expensive out there on the "Bleeding Edge" of this hobby. This not my engine, check in the Gen III forum for more info, this one belongs to Dustin Ward.

Big thing is the cost, if the wiring/electrical, intake and other parts weren't so expensive, I'd be doing this swap in half my vehicles!
